The house is Gothic, built in the 1880s and National Trust classified. It was originally a coach house and stables for the nearby mansion Lenna. The period style has been preserved but all modern conveniences are installed for your comfort.
You can make the most of a nostalgic maritime experience if you stay in our Empire Suite, a recreated Edwardian ships stateroom, reminiscent of a stateroom on Titanic. Complete with handmade furniture and garlands on the ceilings, this will put you in the right mood for a visit to the maritime museum at Sullivans Cove where a huge collection of pictures, photos and artefacts that tells the story of Tasmania's rich maritime history. After a busy day join guests by the fire in the lounge and spin a few salty tales over a glass of port. |
